- sodobno distribucijo iger z ustreznim cenovnim modelom

And more great news

Xbox ONE to be underclocked by 200Mhz

post-101-144771029583_thumb.jpg

Microsoft engineers on fear of facing another RROD nightmare with their new XBOX ONE console, have decided to slow the system down by up to 200Mhz to resolve any possible problems with its launch.

Two different anonymous sources claim Microsoft is still having design issues with their CPU/GPU combo and their cooling system, so instead of risking another RROD massive nightmare of returns early after the launch of the XB1, they have decided to take a quick-fix solution to the problem and slow down the system by 200Mhz.

What does this mean to developers?

Well we already know that the PS4 is more of a powerhouse than the Xbox One. It has faster RAM and bus bandwidth than the Xbox One already. Under clocking the system will widen the gap between the two consoles, but at the same time will keep the failure rate on the Xbox One very low. The last thing we need is another RRoD fiasco.

In terms of games, you will see a significant difference in multiplatform titles. Lower clock speed means lower frame rates. This means that a game running 60fps on PS4 may only run at 30fps on Xbox One. Even given the current specs, this would probably still be the case except now we are under clocking the GPU. This could affect other things like the Peak Shader Throughput.

If Minecraft were to be released for both Xbox One and PS4, you'd see no difference. A game like Battlefield 4 my run at a lower framerate on the Xbox One than it does on the PS4. We still don't know how much the eSRAM is going to boost or hinder performance of the Xbox One.

We also can't leave out the fact that every developer, every game and every engine runs differently. They could theoretically boost frame rates on the Xbox One to match PS4 by turning off AA effects and lowering resolution.

Of course this is still a 'rumor' until confirmed by ripping apart actual consoles after it launches and testing the bus speed, etc. -- Also does this mean in the future if this 'rumor' turns to to be fact, that later models of XB1 will be faster after Microsoft solves the 'heat issue', or will they solve it before it launches this holiday season.

Podrobnosti o kontrolerju

[h=3]More Immersive[/h]

Impulse Triggers Xbox One’s Wireless Controller sports four vibration motors – a small one behind each trigger that adds precise haptic feedback to the fingertips, and a larger in each grip for large scale rumbles. This gives users a sense of in-game directionality and depth, creating rich, immersive experiences where gunshots, car crashes and explosions can come to life.

For example, in “Forza Motorsport 5,” Turn 10 Studios is using impulse triggers to provide players with precise feedback that enhances the racing experience. If your tires break traction from over-acceleration or if you drift on the gas pedal, the triggers emit very distinct vibrations. This is combined with the chassis rumble that conveys impacts, engine roar and driving over surface irregularities like cobblestone.

Higher Quality Headset Audio – The data transfer rate between the controller and console has been improved, allowing for higher fidelity audio in communication headsets. In-game chat over Xbox Live, according to the team, will be in many cases clearer than talking on a phone.

Xbox_Controller_RHS78_TransBG_RGB_2013.png

[h=3]More Precise[/h]

Revamped Thumbsticks – The thumbsticks are built for precision and comfort. They’re smaller and outlined with a knurled texture for better grip. Competitive gamers will be pleased to hear the sticks require 25 percent less force to move, allowing you to adjust your aim in a first-person shooter or execute a half-circle sweep in a fighting game faster and more accurately. The controller also uses advanced electronics that reduce thumbstick deadzone in the center.

Brand New D-Pad – The old Xbox 360 D-pad is replaced by a new design that pays homage to classic controllers and is architectured to deliver more precision and tactile feedback for gaming. The D-pad’s cross shape is honed to provide accurate cardinal direction input, sweeping movements and combinations – important factors for sports and fighting games, and other experiences.

Buttons, Buttons, Buttons – The A, B, X and Y buttons are lower to the controller with tighter spacing, making the transition between each one smoother. A new, three-step manufacturing process gives these buttons a more premium look, as if the letters on them are suspended in 3-D space. The size and placement of the Xbox button has also changed so the view and menu buttons are more accessible.

Seamless Connectivity – Each controller uses a combination of invisible reflective technology and LEDs to send a patterned infrared signal to your console and Kinect sensor. Not only does this make pairing the devices seamless, but it enables Kinect to associate the controller with whoever is holding it. This introduces innovative experiences, such as player switching, where a split screen display can swap positions on the TV if users change seats on the couch.

Low Power State – If you’re watching a movie or need to step away from the TV, the controller enters a low power state that conserves your battery. The moment you pick it up again, it will be ready for use without having to resynch with the console.

Xbox_Consle_Sensr_controllr_F_TransBG_RGB_2013.png

[h=3]More Comfortable[/h]

Refined for Comfort – The controller’s design is deliberately honed to the closest tenth of a millimeter to offer the most comfortable fit in users’ hands, and was tested extensively by a broader age group than ever before to ensure it is optimized for as many people as possible. According to the team’s research, this improves gameplay performance and allows comfortable gaming for longer periods of time.

Angled Triggers and Bumpers – The triggers and bumpers are carefully designed for performance and comfort. The specific angling allows for a natural fit for your fingers, and the triggers require a lighter pull, so squeezing it repeatedly is an easier and more precise action.

Internal Battery Cavity –The compartment that houses AA batteries is built into the interior of the controller, providing more room at the bottom for your fingers to grip. Another convenient improvement is that the controller is both wireless and a wired– simply plug it into your console with a mini USB cable and the connection automatically switches to preserve battery life.

Picking up the Xbox One controller feels familiar. Its contours, heft and proportions are reminiscent of the Xbox 360 controller, and yet the augmentations the team made are evident. It is distinctly its own controller, enhanced with more than 40 technology innovations that make it more comfortable, precise and immersive – the ultimate accessory for your gaming needs.

“Simply put,” the Xbox team said, “it is the best controller we've ever made.”

After signing in and installing, you can play any of your games from any Xbox One because a digital copy of your game is stored on your console and in the cloud. So, for example, while you are logged in at your friend’s house, you can play your games.

Ja, ampak kolega bo vseeno moral najprej downloadat igro.

Nekaj glede internetne hitrosti:

For an optimal experience, we recommend a broadband connection of 1.5Mbps. (For reference, the average global internet connection speed as measured recently by Akamai was 2.9 Mbps). In areas where an Ethernet connection is not available, you can connect using mobile broadband.

:tard: 1.5Mbps je dovolj za optimalno delovanje?

Vse to so napisali v ene odstavku:

While a persistent connection is not required... Games that are designed to take advantage of the cloud may require a connection.
With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection, but you can still watch live TV and enjoy Blu-ray and DVD movies.

:lol Hočejo povedati, da ni potreben always on, čeprav vseeno je potreben. :roll:

Moti me predvsem da ob igranju iger moram vsakih 24ur Xbox povezat v internet.

:begging:

MS jih dobiva po glavi, mainstream mediji so popizdili, celo pro-MS občila majo dost tega sranja

A few things to note:

  • VG247 have been denied E3 interviews.
  • TechnoBuffalo confirmed in their article that they've been also been denied interviews, as have some of their colleagues.
  • The list of confirmed outlets denied interviews is Giant Bomb, GI.biz, MCV, Tapezilla, VG247 and TechnoBuffalo. "Scheduling conflict", indeed.
  • While the Forbes pieces are from contributors, they're currently the most read articles on the entire site.

Xbox One physically embodies our design principles. Viewed from above, it's two 16:9 rectangles, inspired by the aspect ratio of Live Tiles. The new controller is a product of relentless attention to detail — whether it's micro texture on the thumbstick (a response to observing how gamers grip the top and side during gameplay), embedding the battery compartment for more comfort and balance, or the triple-shot of injected resin buttons with that familiar Segoe font. (The buttons look so good my daughter thought they were candy.)

Let's say you're excited about the Xbox One... so excited, in fact, that you're okay with spending $499 on it before you've even touched the gamepad. Microsoft wants to accommodate you: buy a system quickly enough and you'll get the limited Day One Edition. While the core system won't change, you'll get to flaunt your early adopter status through both a slightly customized controller and a special Xbox Live achievement. Microsoft is also offering a matching (though separate) Xbox Live 12-month Gold pass that bundles an exclusive Killer Instinct character. If those rarities are enough to encourage an early purchase, you can reserve one through Microsoft and other retailers. Let's just hope that there aren't too many launch day quirks.
