Porting The Last of Us to PS4 helped Uncharted 4‘s development

Small team working on it since Uncharted 3‘s development ended, half the team moved to U4 after TLOU and the rest after Left Behind.

Takes places three years after U3.

At the start of U4 Drake is living an happy life with Elena, then Sam appears.

Drake thought Sam was dead.

Sam’s life depends on him finding an artifact from Henry Avery.

Drake feels indebted of his brother and he can’t resist getting back on treasure hunting.

Story takes Drake and Sam to Libertalia: “a mythic Madagascar colony purportedly founded by pirates.”

You’re not going to spend the whole game on the island, snowy and urban environments teased.

There are two rival hunters, Rafe and Nadine.

Rafe is a very different treasure hunter than Drake, with different morale and approach.

Nadine owns a private military company in South Africa.

Villains will play a bigger role this time.

“The lack of Sam being in Nathan life for so long is what’s driven him in the last games.”

Sam is five years older than Drake.

Elena and Sully might come back.

Sam is even more reckless than Drake.

Sam is jealous of Drake, sees him as the “better at everything little brother”

Lots of rivalry between them.

Naugty Dog declined to talk about Drake and Sam’s past.

Artifacts (collectibles) may contain notes pointing to more treasures/artifacts.

Enemies can grab your leg if you try to push them over ledges.

More tools besides Rope and Piton (metal spike). They’re not ready to talk about them yet.

ND Wants to to incorporate the tools into puzzles.

GI saw an extended demo with a new scene. Drake is beaten down while Sam is rested, they start arguing the existance of the Avery secret, then something catches Drake’s eye, he moves forward, pull some foliage, revealing a gray monument with a carving.

Focusing on navigational freedom for this entry.

Shown multiple paths, one finding an extra cave, another bypassing a group of enemies.

There are plenty of side stories if you’re looking for them.

In the demo they shown Drake taking a more riskier climbing route, that almost makes him fall into the sea.

All paths have consequences, there’s no “golden path.”

There’s an overhauled A.I system.

They compared Sam’s A.I to Ellie, but says Sam is a grown up treasure hunter, so he’s much stronger than Ellie.

They’re trying to “explore what it’s like to be with somebody as capable of Nathan Drake.”

ND did not give a straight answer if this is Drake last adventure.

There’s still plenty of humour in the game.

The concept of the set pieces is “What’s something impactful that we can do to switch expectations and how can we have it emotionally charged?”

mmm že lomaj čakam da pride ven že uncharted 3 je bil odličen res čisti užitek v igranju pomooje ga bo 4ka presegla sodeč po trailerjih bo tole najbolj pričakovanih iger no vsaj za mene res zelo dobra igra

Meni se bolj ko ne ob "poplavi" definitive oz. remastered edicij zdi malo zaman, da Uncharted ne bi dobil trilogije za PS4. Sicer je to tema za drugič ampak če bo to res zadnji Uncharted potem bi trilogija morala priti na PS4.

Moram pa reči, da moram še prej odigrati vsaj Golden Abyss. PS2 oz. PS3 si nisem lastil tako da oseb praktično nič ne poznam razen kdo je osrednji lik .

bi bilo zelo fino tole ko si omenil trilogija za ps4 bi bili zelo dobrodošla in če bo kdaj jo bom z veseljem kupil jaz sem igral predzadji del unchared 3 in sem ga res z največjim užitkom se namestil pred tv in uživaj v igranju se pa strinjam za triolgijo bi bilo dobrdošlo:D:beer:

Čisto iskreno, bi raje videl da se Naughty Dog sfokusira na nove igre, kot pa da delajo remastered verzije. Res je, da so vsi trije Uncharted deli ene izmed boljših iger na PS3, samo škoda ND potenciala. Naj Sony da dela te verzije raje drugemu studiu. So zelo dobre igre, ampak jih ne bi kupil še enkrat samo zato ker so grafično izboljšane (no, mogoče v kaki akciji )

ND ima 2 ekipi, ena je na U4, druga pa upam da na The Last of Us 2. Upam da tako tudi ostane.

Sony je izdal nov spisek informacij o prihajajoči igri Uncharted 4 ter nekaj novih screenshotov in artov.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Coming Spring 2016

Since we showed you our first gameplay reveal of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, more of the game and story have come together, and it’s become clear to us that this game is much more ambitious than we originally envisioned.

After spending so many years with Nathan Drake, he means a lot to the team, and telling the climactic chapter of his adventures is a task we don’t take lightly — this game deserves every bit of the attention to detail, precise pacing, and nuanced storytelling Naughty Dog is known for. So we’ve made the difficult choice of pushing the game’s release date. Giving us a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the team’s high standards, but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title.

“We’ve completely revamped our facial animation systems," he explained. "The previous Uncharted games, and in The Last Of Us, the characters all had about 90 to 100 ‘bones’ in their faces which we used to move the meshes around.

"Think about that, about how detailed Joel and Ellie’s pained facial expressions were, how well the game captured the respective actors’ – Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson – seminal roles. All that was achieved on the old tech. Now, the faces have anywhere between 300 and 500 bones.”

Torej konec potovanja za Drake-a. Bo pa možen spin-off.

Upam samo da dejansko zaključijo zgodbo in naredijo koncu pravi konec.

Vem da so tudi pri God of War 3 govorili da je to zadnji, pa so si na koncu lepo pustili odprt konec...

Sully je zakon, tak da je lepo da so ga vključili v igro.

Bo pa tole must-have igra za PS4. To sploh ni dvoma.

naravnost odlično sploh ni dvoma ko dajo preorder takoj naročim odličen gameplay in odlično povezano vse skupaj v celoti in pa še nekaj presmejanih trenutkov ko sem gledal trailer sully ima še vedno dobre izjave včasih resm malo za nasmejati z največjim veseljem bom tole igro prednaročil
