The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt concludes the story of Geralt of Rivia, the series' protagonist, whose story to date has been covered in the previous iterations.

To je eden izmed večjih razlogov za nakup next gen konzole... Prvi in drugi del sta mi bila vrhunska samo navadit si se moral na combat sistem in je bil prav užitek igrati zgodbo. Upam da bodo ustvarjalci tudi po tem še nadaljevali štorijo na tak princip vendar glede na to da je triologija mislim da bo žal konec z Geraltom

aja pa še xbox 360 ter ps3 so pustili za sabo kar je en ogromen plus saj nebota ovirala grafike na next gen konzolah in bodo naredili kar se da lep masterpiece na novih mašincah yaaay

Igra bo imela kar 36 različnih koncev glede na igralčeve odločitve:

CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwinski has revealed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will have 36 different endings, proving that player choice will be important factor in the third iteration of the epic action role-playing game series.

Glavni del igre naj bi igralcu vzel približno 50 ur za dokončanje, stranski questi pa od 100 do 120 ur nekje.

Iwinski has also revealed that the game will take approximately 50 hours to complete and 100-120 hours if players take part in side quests. On top of that, players can expect a glorious-looking game after Iwinski revealed that the studio has got close to pushing the PS4 and Xbox One hardware to their limits.

Izid igre je prestavljen iz konca 2014 v februar 2015.

According to an open letter posted by CD Projekt RED on The Witcher's official website, the studio has set the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for February 2015.

Razlog:

The Polish video game developer commented on the complexity of the project, citing that the team "recently reexamined what we had achieved thus far, and faced a choice about the game’s final release date. The decision we made was difficult, thoroughly considered, and ultimately clear and obvious. We could have released the game towards the end of this year as we had initially planned. Yet we concluded that a few additional months will let us achieve the quality that will satisfy us, the quality gamers expect from us."

Nič kaj novega zaenkrat. Trenutno so hudo zaposleni s finiširanjem Witcher 3.

Vmes je bilo samo še tole povedano:

“It will be a story-based RPG experience with amazing single-player playthroughs, but we’re going to add multiplayer features.”

The powerpoint presentation was spotted by NeoGAF member FACE, and reveals that the game will contain “mixed FPP/TPP”. Also mentioned in the slide is a “futuristic story-driven RPG and open world”, a “dense city environment and surrounding wastelands”, and “tons of customisation”.

Alpha verzija iz februarja je bila odtujena od razvijalcev:

A huge number of details regarding The Witcher 3 have appeared online, following internal design documents being stolen.

"It has come to our attention that some of the production files for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have emerged on the internet. A portion of the files contains information about the story of the game so we strongly advise against accessing them, as this may heavily impact and spoil your future gaming experience."

Based on the file known as “M03 – Alpha (Feature Complete) – 16.02.2014,” it would suggest The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was completed in February of this year, with the document saying they had reached a “fully functioning, full-featured core version of the game with main path story and plot quests for all characters completed and implemented.”

At the Games Awards being held in Vegas, CD Projekt RED introduced a brand new trailer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

It was said during the introduction that a new playable character would be shown in the trailer, and while she wasn’t called by name, it’s possibly Ciri.

Kdor je upal, da bo igra tokrat le izšla ob datumu, ki je bil podan v prvo bo žal ostal prikrajšan. Igra je zopet zamaknjena in sicer v 19. maj 2015.

When we release the most important game in our studio’s history, we must be absolutely sure that we did everything we could to limit any bugs to a level that will allow you to enjoy the game thoroughly.
