Capcom naj bi imel v rokavu še en Resident Evil za izid. Na Xbox.com se je pojavil spodnji boxart ter posnetek zaslona igre:

Uradno Capcom ni najavil naslednika Resident Evil Revelations je pa izjavil, da je bila igra eden izmed vrhuncev prejšnjega leta kar se denarja tiče.

Capcom has not officially announced a sequel to Resident Evil: Revelations, but the company did cite performance of the game as one of its financial highlights last year.

Igra naj bi bila lansirana na Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 in PS4. O PCju ni slišati nič.

Pa še nekaj novih podrobnosti o igri:

- Claire Redfield – brother to Chris of Resident Evil 1, Code Veronica, 5, and 6 fame – will return as the chief protagonist, her first formal appearance in over ten years (not counting spin-offs). It’s also mentioned that she’s now a hardened veteran, given her near-endless exploits with the undead.

- Barry Burton’s daughter – yes, you read that correctly – Moira will be joining Claire throughout the main campaign, which is playable in both co-op or single-player.

- As presumed from the recent release of concept art, the game will take place in an abandoned detention facility on an island and will be full 1080p and a strong 60fps.

- The game’s events nestle themselves between that of Resident Evil 5 & 6.

- Claire’s style is more combat-focused, whilst Moira is tasked with healing, flashlight-holding and general support. Additionally, Claire’s death is the only one that will activate a ‘Game Over’ screen.

- The game begins with both characters waking up from an abduction of sorts.

- Gameplay will be far more survival-horror-orientated, much like the first Revelations. Fan feedback was imperative to the development of the game, and Okabe reiterates by saying, ‘’the project has been finding the line between listening to fan feedback and also doing something different to confound expectations.’’

- In terms of new enemies, the game will feature an ‘’afflicted’’ type, which are different to conventional zombies. They’ll be lightning quick and heavy-handed, but can be circumvented stealthily rather than being tackled head-on.

Capcom has revealed new details on Resident Evil: Revelations 2, confirming the upcoming survival horror title will be released in episodic form.

The company confirmed that Revelations 2 will be comprised of four episodes in total, with new chapters rolling out each week.

Vsaka epizoda bo stala 5.99€, medtem ko bo celoten skupek na voljo kot season pass za 24.99€.

In terms of prices, gamers can expect to fork out €5.99/$5.99 per episode, while the full game will retail for €24.99/$24.99.

Bo pa izdana tudi fizična verzija igre, ki pa bo stala 39.99$. Fizična verzija igre pa bo vsebovala še več stvari kot season pass - ki bo vseboval dodatne stvari/vsebino, ki ne bo na voljo pri nakupu le posameznih epizod.

In addition to the trailer, new info released through Capcom showed that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be debuting as an episodic title, with the game to release in four weekly chapters available either individually ($5.99) or as a Season Pass ($24.99). Details also showed that additional game content will be available in the Season Pass not available in purchasing episodes individually – on top of that, the retail release of the game will debut after the episodic versions are out, and contain more additional content than what is contained in the Season Pass ($39.99).

Za tiste, ki bodo/boste prednaročili RER 2 na PS3 oz PS4 bo vključen dodaten mode v RAID stage - Throwback Stage Pack.

Pre-ordering Resident Evil Revelations 2 on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will net players an extra bonus mode for free, producer Michiteru Okabe announced in a panel at New York Comic Con today.

The game will be available to pre-order on PS4 on Oct. 14 and for PS3 later this month. Pre-orders on these consoles will net the Raid Mode Throwback Pack for free. This pack features stages from previous, more recent Resident Evil titles that will be playable in Raid Mode.

Izid igre je zamaknjen za 1 teden in bo namesto 18. februarja izšla 25. februarja preko PSN. Kar torej pomeni, da vsaka nadaljna epizoda pride v razmaku enega tedna - 4, 11 in 18. marca sledijo druga, tretja in četrta epizoda.

Retail oz. fizična kopija igre pa bo na voljo vsem od 20. marca dalje.

Originally due out on February 17, the survival horror adventure will now infect PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in the U.S. on February 24, with a European release due on February 25 via PlayStation Network.

There’s four episodes in total, with each one rolling out on a weekly basis. So, expect new content drops on March 4, 11, and 18 in Europe. U.S. PS Store updates are the day before their European counterpart, so that’s March 3, 10, and 17 for those across the pond.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will also receive a full retail release in Europe and the U.S. on March 20 and March 18, respectively.

Capcom has confirmed that Raid mode will launch with the first episode of Revelations 2 in February. You will be playing it offline only though, either solo or in split-screen co-op. As for the online portion, Capcom promised it will be added after the release of the final episode in March.

Content wise, Episode 1 will come with 54 Raid mode missions across three difficulty settings. Episode 2 and 3 will launch with 36 missions each, and Episode 4 will bring another 68 missions.

Torej vsaka epizoda bo imela zgoraj omenjeno število raid misij, ki bodo vsaj v začetku solo ali split screen co-op. Online stvar naj bi prišla kasneje po zadnji epizodi.

Vsaj po zgoraj sodečem komaj čakam, da stvar pride online. Namreč raid mode v RER je bil odličen in vsaj po zgoraj videnem je zadeva zelo podobna, ampak vseeno ne ista.

Vidim, da bo to čisto druga reč kot pa remake RE 1.

15 characters in total will be available. You get new characters with each episode you buy, plus Hunk and Wesker if you opt in for the retail version, both will also be available to buy separately later. The revealed characters are Claire, Moira, Barry and Gina.

Various weapons and weapon parts will be available, and you unlock new weapons as you level up. Characters will now also have four times as many skills as the first game, allowing for more variations per character.

Najbolj pa mi je všeč, da bo Hunk playable in Wesker. Še zdaj ju nadvse rad igram v RE Mercenaries 3D na 3DS.

Glede na moj "polom" z RE HD remakom, tole že komaj čakam. Sploh raid mode opcije, ki jih bo največ v fizični verziji. Pa še Barry se vrača. Nazadnje sem ga igral oz. ga še vedno v RE Mercenaries 3D na 3DS XL.
