Fallout je igra, z katero nas je veliko odraščalo, ter ima OGROMNI fanbase. Skoraj da lahko rečemo, da je vsak del imel velik vpliv na svoj žaner iger.

Zadnji entry je bil "reboot" frančize z fallout 3 v 2008(po neuspelem projektu Van Buren v 2000), potem je bil edino New Vegas, kateri ni bil od istih devov, je pa izboljšal osnovo trojke, ni pa je spremenil (Iron sights, joinable factions etc). (Osnova, na kateri je pozneje tudi bil grajen npr Skyrim - ni zanikanja )

Izid igre je trenutno planiran za 2015, ampak se bo najverjetneje prestavil na 2016:

Announced earlier today, Fallout 4 could release in 2015, according to a listing by the official Bethesda Store.

In their pre-order listing for Fallout 4, the store says, “Your entire order will be held until this product becomes available. The current estimated ship date is TBA 2015.“ However, they do note, “Ship date subject to change without notice. We will always update this product page with the latest information we have.”

Since that listing went live, the date has been changed to “TBA.”

Težko, da bo igra izšla letos. Se mi zdi vse skupaj malo prehitro.

Poleg tega je cel kup "težkokategornikov" med igrami za letos in da bi še Fallout vmes padel je pomojem prehuda.

Igra bo kvečjemu izšla prihodnje leto. Najbrž enkrat v prvi polovici leta.

Fallout 4 has been in development since Fallout 3 was released in 2009. Unlike previous entries in the Fallout universe, Fallout 4 begins before the actual nuclear bombs drop. For the first time you will get to experience the nuclear apocalypse first hand and run for shelter in Vault 111. This is when the story gets a little interesting: The main protagonist in the game is the sole survivor of Vault 111 and exits the vault for the first time 200 years later. As far as how you will survive 200 years, who knows; but the creative minds at Bethesda will surely think of something.

 

The VATS system will make a return in Fallout 4 as well, and looks just as gory as you'd expect it would. This time slowing time even more, and allowing you more control over where you shoot.

Bethesda’s Todd Howard has just announced that all mods created on the PC for Fallout 4 can be transferred and played on Xbox One.

Modi bodo na voljo tudi na PS4, vendar z zamudo. MS in Bethesda imata časovni dogovor.

Bethesda Game Studios chief Todd Howard has confirmed the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 4 will, like the Xbox One version, support mods made with the PC version.

Howard told Geoff Keighley on his YouTube Live show that the Creation Kit modding tool will come to the PC version of Fallout 4 after the game launches this November. He suggested it will be released on PC early 2016, then on Xbox One, then on PS4.

Howard said it made sense for the Xbox One version to support mods before the PS4 version because of BGS' relationship with Microsoft and Xbox's connection with Windows 10, but the intention was for mods to be available to all.
