Naslov igre še ni dokončen oz. je le v navednicah. Je pa znano da bo igra open-world RPG in da bo izšla na PC, PS4 in Xbox One. Trenutni izid igre je datiran oz. postavljen na zimo 2016. Več o igri pa bo znanega na letošnjem Gamescomu.

V izjavi za javnost je zapisano:

"Elex is by far the most ambitious project for Piranha Bytes and Nordic Games to-date" Nordic Games director Reinhard Pollic described Elex as "going to be edgy, dark, uncompromising, complex, and we love it already." The game's own website says ELEX is set in a "brand new post-apocalyptic science-fantasy universe."

Elex put players into a huge seamless game world full of original characters, mutated creatures, deep moral choices, and powerful action."
