Igro razvija Capcom Vancouver in naj bi bila ekskluziva za PC in Xbox One. Na splet je pobegnilo nekaj screenshotov, uradno naznanilo pa se pričakuje ta teden.

Sem upal, da bo multiplatform igra glede na to da bo "tekla" na U4 pogonu, ampak če je MS financiral igro pol logično da ne bo.

Igra bi naj imela precej izboljšane kontrole:

The controls are a lot better in Dead Rising 4 than previous games in the series. RT automatically uses your ranged weapon, while X is reserved for melee. This way, you don't have to keep switching between weapons, making for much more fluid combat.

Tudi performance bi naj bil precej boljši napram prejšnjemu delu:

Dead Rising 4 felt a lot smoother than I was expecting. Dead Rising 3 on Xbox One suffered technical issues, so I was happy to find Dead Rising 4's E3 2016 demo devoid of any serious technical hiccups - and with plenty of zombies on screen, too.

Just in time for the holidays, Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package is a special delivery that will let players unwrap the Dead Rising 4 main game, in addition to all other previously released game content.
