Portal 2 for PlayStation 3 is the first title to support Steam on a console. Specifically, that means it offers cross-platform matchmaking, gameplay, friends, chat, and achievements, all powered by Steam. Steam on the PS3 also saves co-op game progress and single player saved games to the Steam Cloud, enabling players to pick up where they left off on any PlayStation 3.

Steam makes its appearance on the PS3 as an overlay within Portal 2. Here, the Steam overlay provides access to Steam Friends, displaying their in-game or online status and providing a quick pathway to text chats, player profiles, friend requests, and game invites. Steam Achievements are earned in lockstep with PSN Trophies and are also accessible within the Steam overlay.

Steam on the PS3 provides access to all of these features once the player has linked their PlayStation Network account with a Steam account, which is done right within the game. A Steam user can login to an existing account, and anyone new to Steam can create an account with the click of a button.

With all these features, Portal 2 on the PS3 is the best console version of the game, just as it was suggested it would be back at E3 last year. If you’re still hungry for more

Eurogamer (10/10) - "Portal is perfect. Portal 2 is not. It's something better than that. It's human: hot-blooded, silly, poignant, irreverent, base, ingenious and loving. It's never less than a pure video game, but it's often more, and it will no doubt stand as one of the best entertainments in any medium at the end of this year. It's a masterpiece." -Oli Welsh

G4TV - "However, I can say that while Portal 2 may not be for absolutely everyone, it undeniably deserves a place among the greatest games of all time. Mass Effect, Half-Life, Oblivion, KOTOR, Starcraft, Okami, Diablo, Ico, Bioshock, Doom, Grand Theft Auto, The Legend of Zelda: the list is long, and it has a new member. I am honored to have reviewed Portal 2, and look forward to playing it again tomorrow." -Morgan Webb

Game Informer (9.50/10) - "The game's quality stays consistently outstanding throughout; there isn't a minute of filler content to be found anywhere in single-player or co-op." -Adam Biessener

GameStar (91/100) - (translated) "The small cult game grows up: A mature campaign, an amusing co-op and magnificent physics puzzles adorn portal comeback." -Heinrich Lenhardt

Giant Bomb (5/5) - "Despite being so much bigger than the original, I actually felt a little melancholy once Portal 2 was over, simply because it's so rare to find a game this smart, this funny, and this rich with detail. It elevates Portal from an odd, memorable experiment to one of the most significant series in Valve's stable with a unique voice and an incredible level of quality that all developers should aspire to." -Ryan Davis

Guardian (5/5) - "Valve has created a masterpiece in Portal 2. The depth of content, the mind-bending mechanics and fantastic experience are almost certain to satisfy ardent fans of the first game; and to all newcomers to the series, it's as simple as this: prepare to have your mind blown. Over and over again." -Nick Cowen

IGN (9.5/10) - "Makes the original look like the prototype it was. It's filled with a larger cast of characters vividly brought to life through brilliant writing and some of the best voice acting in video games...From the beginning of the single-player story to the end of the co-op mode, Portal 2 is a novel, unforgettable experience." -Charles Onyett

Jeuxvideo (19/20) - (translated) "In its mechanics as well as in its writing, Portal 2 is simply brilliant, clever and terribly funny. This observation applies equally to its solo mode and to its co-op mode that will convert even those allergic to multiplayer." -Nicolas Charciarek

PC Gamer (94%) - "A challenging, hilarious, and mind-expanding puzzle experience for one or two-treasure your first time through." -Dan Stapleton

Videogamer (10/10) - "I think you knew all along this was going to be great. Fantastic, even. All the same, I don't think you'll be prepared for it being this good. I may have buttoned my lip in terms of concrete spoilers, but a mere ten minutes here will yield more memorable moments than you're likely to squeeze out of the entirety of most other games this year. In all aspects of its design, Portal 2 is genius." -Jamin Smith

LOL, OMG kaj eni ne pogruntajo

Look at some of these choice quotes from the article:

Game play takes place in a giant gay bath house, where children are encouraged to use their mechanical penis guns to create glory holes.

There are two adorable robots. Who doesn’t love robots? Kids sure do. Well, these 2 robots are a homosexual couple. The tall one is the dominate bear and the little one is the swishing bottom... Instead of penises, they have glowing red and blue lights in their sex area.

As if that was not enough, there are mechanical testicles and gay saunas around every corner. Not enough? Well this game introduces “gels” which help the innocent children slide through a glowing red sphincter.

Protect your children from this latest assault from the gay agenda.

Wow. Just... wow. The biggest problem with this story is that, taken at face value, it could easily be seen as a serious creation from a Fox News-watching, Glenn Beck-worshipping, radical Conservative Christian. There are people - even in 2011 - that still see video games as a pox on humanity, and there are still people so homophobic that they will construe every symbol, however innocuous, as the latest assault from "those homer-sexuals."
