Amazon.com is reportedly the culplrit, and Rockstar issued this short note regarding the broken street date:

Apparently a store in France started surreptitiously selling copies of Rockstar's highly-anticipated blockbuster a few days early. And apparently parents need to pay more attention to rating labels. Kids who can't even look at Grand Theft Auto V's box without flipping out should really not be playing this game. There are like, hookers. And murder.

Rockstar has warned Xbox 360 gamers not to install the Grand Theft Auto 5 "play" disc.

On Xbox 360 the openworld game comes on two discs: one mandatory "install" disc and one "play" disc, both around 8GB in size. It's a similar situation to Forza 4, which also shipped on two discs on Xbox 360.

"For optimal performance, we recommend not installing that disc," tweeted Rockstar Support.

Then, "An 8GB install is required. For optimal performance, we recommend not installing the play disc."

Rockstar has promised more information soon. For now, the upshot is, with GTA5 on Xbox 360, you have to install disc one but run disc two from the drive.

Čakej zakaj nebi smeli nasneti Play DVD-ja ? ne vidim enega samega razloga za to njihovo trditev. Sam že igram in imam oba dvd-ja nasneta in špil teče brezhibno (na x360).

Ena dobra akcija pri nas v Mülleru:

Danes poklical v Müller v centru MB na Gosposki, imajo tako PS3 kot tudi Xbox 360 verzijo! Cena igre s kuponom (-5€) iz njihovega letaka je 55€! Verjetno najboljši deal pri nas, pa tudi v primerjavi s tujino je cena ZELO dobra! Aja, pa še rezervacije so možne po telefonu. Zvečer letim po njo!

Medtem ko v poslovalnici v Europarku nimajo pojma, sploh ne vedo za ta kupon + ne vedo če bodo igro sploh dobili, kljub temu da je teta vse to pogledala v računalnik. Aja, tudi o PS4 ne vedno ničesar, pobirajo pa prednaročila "za ono drugo konzolo". Je rekla, da so jim baje multimedijo zelo okrnili.

Kul, ko sem dobil domov ta katalog, ga še niso imeli objavljenega na spletu.

Ne vidim razloga zakaj sprintan kupon ne bi veljal. Tudi kodi kuponov se ujemata.

Se lahko pričakuje kak "price drop" recimo na PSN? Razmišljam da bi mogoče počakal nekaj dni in nabavil digitalno verzijo. 70€ jim pa ne dam, raje tudi sam naročim disk

Dvomim da bo kakšen price drop in tudi če pride na PS+, bo to verjetno komaj čez par mesecev, če sploh... Bi jim pa bil dober deal, da si pridobijo PS+ uporabnike.

Rockstar si je lepo privoščil CoD:

Righteous Slaughter 7: The Art of Contemporary Killing

Developed by "Misfire Games", Righteous Slaughter 7 is billed as "A first-person shooter like no other (except for the Righteous Slaughter 6 which was released 3 months ago)."

The copy on the site continues: "Insurgents are killing orphans. They have nerve toxin and a nuke. You're flashing back a lot telling a dramatic story cobbled together from assorted generic multiplayer levels so we could get the game made in time."

Apparently levels in the game include "Australia Attack", where "a great 70s soundtrack plays as you kill the grenade-laden wallabies", and "Hippie Holocaust": "Liberals are protesting the slaughterhouse that makes all those tasty hamburgers you love. Let's show them the meaning of slaughterhouse."

Other features of the game include online play ("so you know what real war will be like when the foreigners turn up on our door step") and there's even the promise of downloadable content. "Level up even faster!" it says. "Purchase upgrades so that you can destroy those with more skill and less money than you - just like in real life."

PS3 spet malu puši...

Some GTA V comparison screens have popped up on Reddit, showing off how Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 compares. Without a shadow of a doubt, the Xbox 360 version comes out on top for this one, but barely.

As pointed out by the OP, the Xbox 360 version has smoother shadows and just a little better details in vegetation. In every other case, including framerate, the two games perform exactly the same.

Of course, the Playstation 3 was infamous for having the lesser port whenever both systems would get a game, because of struggles developers would have with its Cell processor. However, Rockstar Games was in that position to study how to better use the system’s capabilities in the long term development of the GTA games, which is really not a cheap investment. It’s possible they could have had the game looking as good as Uncharted, but Rockstar decided to keep things mostly equal to keep console-loyal fans from both sides happy.

Of course, this isn't the last of it, as we have yet to find out how Grand Theft Auto Online will play out on either of them...

Jaz ne vidim razlike tako pri sencah kot tudi pri rastlinju ne. Verjetno bi jih komaj opazil, če bi jih kdo označil.

Se sploh ne sekiram, ker to so res minimalne razlike. Je res bolj moteče če na Xboxu slučajno inštaliraš oba DVD-ja na disk.

Digital Foundry je rekel da je boljša PS3 verzija zaradi čistejših (non blurred) tekstur na tleh. Xbox po drugi strani dosega malenkost boljši framerate, ampak spet tako mali (2FPS), da se ga baje ne opazi na oko.

However, it's apparent that the PS3 version has an undeniable advantage in one area: even to the naked eye, ground textures on 360 are blurred as a result of what appears to be unoptimised asset streaming. Glitch or not, this basically amounts to concrete and grass textures appearing fuzzier beneath the feet of Trevor, Michael or Franklin, while the PS3 version's remain crystal clear. The 360 does command a minor advantage in frame-rate during synchronised play, but for shoot-outs and high-speed hurtles down the city streets, the PS3 can sometimes pull ahead in these metrics - though the difference is rarely perceptible either way. Since all else is identical across the board, the PS3 version is recommended on the grounds of image quality if you have the option.

Igri sta torej praktično enaki, tako kot je Rockstar tudi obljubil.

Po moje je čisto vseeno katero verzijo igre igraš, bolj pomembno je na kateri konzoli igrajo tvoji kolegi, da se jim pridružiš.
