METRO Redux

Govora je da bo omenjena igra izdana za PS4, Xbox One in PC. Vsebovala pa naj bi Metro 2033 in Metro Last Light. Metro Redux bo vseboval Day One DLC token, soundtrack, art karte in pakiranje v omejeni izdaji. Omenjeni paket naj bi bil na voljo v juliju.

Metro Redux, a compilation featuring Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, is on its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to a listing on Italian site Everyeye.it (via AGB).

The pack is scheduled for release in July 2014, and also includes a day one DLC token, soundtrack, art cards and limited edition packaging.

Založnik Deep Silver je podal uradno izjavo glede METRO Redux:

Metro Redux. You may have heard of it… even though you probably shouldn’t have!

"We could issue a ‘We do not comment on rumour and speculation’ statement and pretend this never happened. They’re pretty boring to read. They’re also pretty boring to write. So we’re going to comment on rumour and speculation instead.

Is Metro Redux real? Yes. We never made any secret of 4A’s desire to bring Metro to the latest generation of console hardware.

But what you saw leaked was taken from an old, internal planning presentation, containing some nuggets of truth but a lot of hypothetical ideas and place holder material.

(Eagle eyed fans will recognize the artwork on the ‘packshot’ as the art from the original Russian edition of the Metro 2033 novel. And that ‘logo’ is just the old Metro 2033 logo with the ’2033? scrubbed out and ‘Redux’ added… )

As you can see, we’re not quite ready to reveal 4A Games’ first next-gen console project, but we will be making an announcement this side of E3.

And we think the reality is a lot more exciting than the out-dated material that got leaked shows, and we’re itching to share it with you. Just not yet.

Post-apocalyptic action-adventure duo Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light are being revamped for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One this summer, Deep Sliver has announced.

The games will be repackaged as the previously-outed Metro: Redux, featuring 60fps, revamped weather and lighting effects, enhanced particle effects, advanced AI, and much more.

Še vedno pa ni informacij o tem Al bo igra v 1080p.

Last Light includes all content released under the game’s Season Pass, adding some 10 additional hours of single-player content. There’s also two unique play styles to choose from, allowing gamers to tackle the critically-acclaimed titles as they see fit.

This includes the Survival option, which offers a more traditional survival horror gameplay experience. On the other side of the coin, the more action-oriented Spartan mode is up for grabs for a faster, more combat-focused romp.

Ranger Mode is also available for both 2033 and Last Light, and offers the most challenging take on 4A Games’ Metro titles by removing the HUD and applying hardcore rules.

Both games will be available separately for PS4 at $24.99/£15.99 or packaged together under the Metro: Redux moniker for $49.99/£34.99.

Še vedno pa ni informacij o tem Al bo igra v 1080p.

Na PS blogu piše da bi naj bila 1080p, ampak vemo kako se je to končalo z Watch Dogsi.

Ampak glede na to da gre za remastered verzijo, bo verjetno ta resolucija kar držala.

Izboljšave:

PS4 and Xbox One versions will use the PC build's high-end textures - an upgrade from the PS3 and Xbox 360 originals. Outside areas have also been re-lit with a new lighting system, leaving environments brighter and filled with more details on screen.

Levels have been merged together to create larger environments with no breaks in tension or gameplay, and there's also the choice of playing both in Metro: Last Light-style "Spartan" mode, or Metro 2033-style "Survival" mode with smarter AI, plus slower reload and weapon swap times.

Potrdili so tudi 1080p na PS4 in trenutno 900p na XO, vendar je možno da se bo resolucija na XO povečala:

And it's possible that the Xbox One version could still improve, he added. "At the moment we're at 900p - that might change. I say might, I don't know at the moment, we've still a got a few months to go." Redux still has a vague "summer" launch date.

Razkrili so, da na Redux verziji dela samo del ekipe. Ostali del pa že dela na novem (nam še neznanem) projektu:

The Redux versions have served another purpose for 4A, too - it has meant that while part of the developer's 80-strong team starts pre-production on "other projects", other staff with later-game roles are kept busy, and allowed the developer to dip its toes into PlayStation 4 and Xbox One development for the first time.

Sem upal, da bodo podali kaj glede datuma izida pa še vedno nič novega.

No če drugega ne vsaj gameplay so ponudili, kar tudi nekaj velja. Bo pa treba sline cedit na tem, dokler ne izide igra.

Izid igre je za Evropo postavljen na 29. avgust. Komajda :-/

Sem pričakoval vsaj julij ampak očitno iz tega ne bo nič.

To celebrate the release of Metro Redux on Mac, 4A Games and Deep Silver confirmed today that Metro Redux has sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC since launch in August 2014.

Compared to Metro: Last Light on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Metro: Redux on consoles has outsold it “in multiple territories - an unprecedented feat for a remastered edition.”

As the press release adds, “When measured against sales of the previous generation release, Metro Redux is the best performing remaster of this generation.”

Additionally, Metro Redux is Deep Silver’s highest-rated game on Metacritic.
