System Update Re-Enables Hard Drives on Banned Xbox 360 Consoles

A few months ago, Microsoft had disabled hard drive functionality on banned Xbox 360 consoles and corrupted its data (profiles, savegames, achievements) through an Xbox 360 system update. Now, it seems that Microsoft has finally realized that move was both inappropriate and illegal. We have just confirmed that April's Xbox 360 system update re-enables hard drive functionality on banned Xbox 360 consoles. However, it still does corrupt profile data (during system update), but at least now banned consoles are allowed install games to the hard drive once again.

To restore your Xbox 360 hard drive functionality without losing your data, just follow the steps below:

1. Download Xbox 360 April 2010 System Update.

2. Extract it to a root directory of an empty USB flash drive (FAT32) or burn it onto an optical media device (CD/DVD).

3. Turn off the Xbox 360.

4. Remove the hard drive from the Xbox 360 completely.

5. Insert the USB flash drive/optical media into the Xbox 360 and turn it off again.

6. Power up the Xbox 360 and follow the instructions on system update screen.

7. After system update finishes, turn the Xbox 360 on and off at least twice.

8. Turn off the Xbox 360 again.

9. Plug the hard drive back into the Xbox 360.

Po MW2 sem na žalost zgubil vse upanje v Call of Duty. V trailerju je vidno tudi, da je še vedno na istem pogonu kot MW2, tako da bo gameplay spet identičen četrtemu, petemu in šestemu delu. Sorry, i pass. :uke:

Pa še ena bolana od EA Sports, namreč z 8. junijem bodo uvedli "Online Pass", kar pomeni, da boš moral za online igranje njihovih iger, poleg xbox gold naročnine, imeti tudi njihov Online Pass. :crybaby:
