Ja, imaš prav. Zvok ni pravi 7.1, ker so Turtle Beach, Astro in tudi Razer Kraken 7.1 slušalke vedno samo z dvema zvočnikoma (ena leva in ena desna slušalka). Dekoder (škatlica) priložena k slušalkam poskrbi za pretvorbo prostorskega (7.1 ali 5.1) zvoka v stereo. Pri pretvorbi so uporabljeni posebni algoritmi za zvok. Dosti jih uporablja Dolby Headphone licenco nekateri pa DTS Headphone:X.

Vse to so virtual surround slušalke. Seveda so tudi med njimi velike razlike.

Potem pa so še prave surround 7.1 ali 5.1 slušalke. Te imajo več zvočnikov v eni slušalki. Na primer Razer Tiamat ali pa Tritton PRO+ 5.1.

Načeloma se izraza virtual surround sound in surround sound precej mešata, saj nikjer na Astro ali Turtle Beach strani ne boš zasledil besede virtual. Ne vem točno zakaj, mogoče ker kao virtual takoj pomeni slabše kot pravi surround, pa ni čisto tako. Na IGN je ena dobra razlaga in primerjava med obema pojmoma: Virtual vs. true surround zvok pri slušalkah

Glede zvočnega izhoda na kontrolerju, pa si si že sam odgovoril. Je samo stereo izhod.

Če sem ga kje mimo pihnil, je vsak popravek dobrodošel. Je kar prava zmeda in zavajanje glede zvoka pri slušalkah. :sweat:

To je samo zavajanje kupcev. Bom ostal zaenkrat kar pri navadnih stereo slušalkah za nočno igranje, podnevi imam pa 5.1 sistem.

Te "prave" 7.1 slušalke so pa vrjetno drage kot žafran in jih bom kupil, ko mi bo PewDiePie sponzor :)

Sem pa opazil eno "zanimivost" pri slušalkah z mikrofonom od iPhone 5s. Zvok deluje lepo, če pa posnameš npr. Zvočno sporočilo, pa samo piska. Slušalke od samsunga pa delujejo tako kot morajo. Vrjetno kakšna razlika v dizajnu konektorja. Apple vedno nekaj komplicira :)

Razlike v zunanjosti:

Gone is the PS4's glossy panel, and the new revision gives us a uniformly matte surface on top - a material less prone to dust and scratches build-up. Smart, depressible buttons also now feature at the front, with power and eject switches protruding by a millimetre. These give a satisfying, tactile click, replacing the last model's more sensitive capacitive buttons. Running down its centre is also a new LED assembly, a shorter strip of light that doesn't stretch as far across as the launch model's. Conversely, the new model's LED is brighter, and by comparison shows up better in daylight conditions.

Rather than using 16 modules of 512mb GDDR5 RAM (tallying up the console's full 8GB of memory), we now have eight bigger clusters of 1GB. As a consequence of halving the modules, space is freed up on the opposite side of the motherboard, and energy efficiency should be greatly improved as a result - something borne out in our later tests. Added to this, we have a slightly thicker 500GB HDD in the new console - a Samsung Spinpoint drive that's swapped from the thinner HGST drive in our original PS4. The PS4's power supply unit is also replaced with a lighter, lower output model, in part contributing to the C-Chassis' lower 2.5kg weight - 300g lighter than the launch model.

Dimenzije konzole ostajajo nespremenjene. Tudi procesor in grafična sta popolnoma enaka. Zanemarljiva a vseeno omembe vredna je nova postavitev portov na zadnji strani:

The only other tweak is to the PS4's port layout around the back; the HDMI, auxiliary and Ethernet ports all switched around at no real consequence.

Zavoljo posodobljenega drobovja, je poraba elektrike manjša. Bolj pomembneje kot nižja cena položnic za elektriko, je to, da se konzola zato manj greje in ne potrebno tako močnega hlajenje. V praksi to pomeni tišje delovanje med igranjem grafično zahtevnih iger. Tišje delovanje pa nikakor ni zanemarljivo:

the difference is tangible at a regular playing distance from the console. At full speed, the launch PS4 is audible from across our office - a louder presence with higher pitch and volume. The new model is far from whisper quiet, but the fan isn't nearly such a distraction at max velocity.

Povzetek:

Two years into its lifespan, the new C-Chassis model PS4 tackles the hardware's most glaring issue: its acoustic signature under load. In terms of noise output, the fans still kick into a high gear with games like Rocket League - and just like the launch PS4, a disc spinning in the drive pushes this decibel reading still higher. However, it's without a doubt a substantial improvement over the launch unit. The heavier rush of air in our CUH-1000 model is replaced with a more bearable hum, at 10dB quieter; a sound that's no longer audible from across an office space. For all intents and purposes, the most grating edge of the PS4's audio signature is taken off.

It's quieter, lighter and around 30W more power efficient during the games tested. But as a sacrifice, peak temperatures are also marginally worse. Given that its APU uses the same 28nm design as a launch PS4, inevitably the C-Chassis' drop in fan speed has a knock-on effect with heat build-up inside the unit. Fortunately, this rarely exceeds the last model by much more than two degrees Celsius overall, which gives an optimistic outlook on the new console's long-term reliability. It's a minor detracting point, and on balance for the improved acoustics, a worthy trade-off.

The move to a full matte finish, a revised LED strip up top, and the use of physical 'clicky' buttons for power and eject are all subtle, but welcome changes too. However, the focus is really on the new PS4 model's curtailed noise and power levels, with most other aspects fixed in place.

Ali se splača nakup? Odvisno ali si že lastite konzolo ali ne:

Is an upgrade from a launch unit justifiable here? We would suggest no; the C-Chassis is a clear advance in the PS4's design, but at the console's circa £260 price-point it makes more sense to hang tight for a more radical revision down the line. But for those making a first investment on a PS4 soon, the CUH-1200 is without doubt the one to buy.

Nova verzija konzole je, zraven zgoraj omenjenih kozmetičnih razlik, tudi zagotovo, če kupite Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain ali pa Destiny: The Taken King obarvano konzolo! Če gre za bundle BREZ tematsko poslikane konzole, potem to NI nova verzija konzole! Prav tako tudi če kupite konzolo z 1TB diskom, gre za starejši model!

Model nove konzole je v trgovini enostavno opazen. Na embalaži je potrebno najti CUH-1200 oznako:

Seveda ne rabi bit. To je samo njihovo priporočilo na podlagi testov.

V osnovi moraš paziti le, da vzame 2.5" (mali) disk s SATA priključkom in da ni višji od 9.5mm.

Seagate tudi ne velja ravno za najbolj zanesljiv disk, so pa zato med cenejšimi.

Tudi jaz si bom moral omisliti nek nov disk, ker 500GB postaja enostavno premali. Ampak moram še malo premislit katerega bom vzel. Če bi imeli tega starega STBX2000401, potem bi ga takoj vzel. Pa jih žal več ne najdem, ali pa imajo ceno višjo od tega novega modela.

^ Itak nima veze a imaš digitalno ali fizično verzijo, ker se tudi špili iz Blu-rayev inštalirajo na trdi disk.

S tem da jaz kar veliko igram, pa mi je 500GB zaenkrat dovolj. Je pa res da špile pobrišem, ko jih neham igrat.

Seveda ma veze. Ker pri digitalni moraš potem celo šroto spet dol vlečt, pri fizični pa samo update.Ker pa se ve da je net bogi pri PS da linija ni bogvekaj četudi ima user hitro linijo je potem to nočna mora.

Torej špil velik 40GB + updati s PSN pri digitalni al pa samo updati pri fizični. Zdaj pa povej kaj je bolje? Vsi pa vemo da igra ni dol v minutah ampak da to traja ure oz. cel dopoldan in popoldan oz. večer.

^ Mislim da je veliko odvisno od uporabnika. Jaz nisem tak da bi me kar en dan prijelo da bi igral en starejši špil. Tako da teh problemov nimam. Pač si potegnem špil dol, ga preigram ter pobrišem. In potem igram drugega. Starih se praktični nikoli več ne dotaknem.

Pa tudi s hitrostjo DLja iz PSNa nimam kakšnih problemov.

Se strinjam japanboy. Pri digitalnih je še toliko bolj pomemben večji disk, ker je ob brisanju potem potrebno ponovno downloadat. Vsi pa vemo kako počasen je PSN, še posebej v večernih urah. Pri fizičnih medijih pa imaš vedno celo igro praktično zdownloadano na ploščku in stem preskočiš en korak.

Je pa BigFoot74205 verjetno mislil da tako digitalna kot tudi fizična igra zasedeta enako prostora na disku.

^ Mislim da je veliko odvisno od uporabnika. Jaz nisem tak da bi me kar en dan prijelo da bi igral en starejši špil. Tako da teh problemov nimam. Pač si potegnem špil dol, ga preigram ter pobrišem. In potem igram drugega. Starih se praktični nikoli več ne dotaknem.

Ja, tudi res. Jaz si rad vse prenesem in jih imam na "lageru". Potem me ne more presenetit da katere igre nimam pripravljene za igranje. Spet vsake toliko pa mi zapašeta GTA5 ali pa BF4, ki sta gigantski igri na disku. In potem pride prav malo večji disk.

Pa tudi s hitrostjo DLja iz PSNa nimam kakšnih problemov.

Koliko sem opazil je zelo odvisno od tega kdaj kaj prenašaš. Zvečer so hitrosti nižje. Potem pa je še odvisno ali imaš konzolo prižgano in kaj igraš, ali pa jo imaš naštimano v rest mode.

Sigurno pa je, da ima PSN težave s hitrostjo, ker večina uporabnikov jamra kako počasno je prenašanje.

^ Ja glede zasedanja prostora na disku sem mislil da ni razlike. Definitivno je pa špil hitreje inštalira iz diska, kot pa z neta.

Drugače pa jaz ponavadi špile kupim kar med šihtom preko web štacune in dam potem PS4ki zadevo takoj dol vlečt. Ko pridem domov je zadeva inštalirana.

[TD]PS4’s 3.00 system software, codename: Kenshin, is available tomorrow. We want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone that participated in the beta. We’ve listened to your feedback and made this system software update even better.

There are a lot of changes in this update, from entirely new features to UI enhancements. While we detailed its key features earlier this month, we wanted to give you an overview of our favourite new additions. This update is focused on creating new ways to connect with friends and players around the world, expanding the social capabilities of the system even further.

  • Events: A new Events app has been added to PS4, accessible from the home screen. This will give you an overview of activities taking place in the games you play most, as well as official broadcasts.

    For instance, this week we have a double XP racing event in Driveclub and a Team of the Week Event in FIFA 16, you can register directly from the Events app. Once registered you can utilise the auto-boot functionality to set your PS4 to automatically turn on and launch the game and Event at the Event start time. Stay tuned for new gaming events and broadcasts.
  • Communities: PS4 users will have the ability to create and join communities based around shared interests, like games, genres, and more. Communities include a message board with general discussion, screenshots shared by players, and the ability to join parties/games. You can find the Communities for the games you own on the game’s live detail page. See the Communities your friends have joined in the Friends app.

  • PlayStation Plus: We’ve made a dedicated section for PlayStation Plus, which you can access from your PS4’s home screen. Once there you can easily manage your membership, see the monthly free games to download, as well as deals for PS Plus members, and all of the games you’ve redeemed through PS Plus on PS4. And a reminder to PS Plus members, your online storage for PS4 saves has now increased to 10GB.

  • Sharing video clips to Twitter: Now it’s easy to share video clips to Twitter directly from your PS4. Maximum video length is 10 seconds, though you’ll have the ability to trim longer clips. Don’t forget – you can double tap the SHARE button to start recording a video, and press it again to stop.
  • YouTube live: Now you can livestream directly from your PS4 to YouTube. Livestreams will be viewable across YouTube.
  • Request to Share Play and Broadcast: Want to try out your friend’s new game? Now you can Request to start a Share Play session or watch your friend play via a Broadcast. Your friend can chose to start a Share Play session or begin a Broadcast.
  • Live from PlayStation: Keep up with the hottest gaming trends by viewing the most popular broadcasts, video clips, and screenshots uploaded from around the world.
  • PNG Screenshots: If you’d like your game screenshots to be in a higher quality format, you can now select PNG instead of JPEG. To access, press Share > Share Settings > Screenshot Settings > Image Format. We took some comparison shots.
  • Favourite Groups: We’ve added the option for Favourite Groups to the Friends app, making it easier to access groups of people you play games with frequently. You can see we have favorite groups for Call of Duty, Rocket League, and (of course) our Destiny fireteam. Once you’re in the favourite group, you’ll see the online status for players, what games they are playing, and the option to message or chat in party.

  • Stickers: From the PS4 system’s Messages app, you’ll see a new option for Stickers. The 3.00 update will contain stickers themed around Uncharted 4, Knack, Little Big Planet3, Resogun, and more.
